Experimental electronic musician, composer and musical adventurer, Steve Horelick, is also know for his soundtracks, songs and scores for TV, film and games. His TV credits include more than 350 episodes, encompassing such award-winning children productions as PBS's Reading Rainbow (for which he was nominated for an EMMY), Shining Time Station, The Puzzle Place. and The Magic Adventures of Mumfie. He has scored films ranging from an 80's cult-horror classic to HBO's legendary baseball documentary series "When It Was a Game," which earned him his first EMMY nomination. He has also won many other awards for his TV and advertising soundtracks including the New York Film Festival award.
Steve H's true passion is live electronics. He performs ephemeral minimalist and outrageous electronic soundscapes on his ZenDrum, Ohm 64, iPhone, iPad, Ewi and other controllers.
Steve is the Publisher –in charge of content production and aquisition– for NonLinear Educating, Inc.'s macProVideo.com and AskVideo.com online video education websites. The sites currently display about 23,000 tutorial-videos comprising more than 1200 hours of seriously informative HD streaming and download courses. These highly vetted courses are authored by a expert group of renowned artists, trainers and educators from all over the world who teach high-end skills and techniques for most creative endeavors (like game audio) and all professional software products.
Steve is also a renowned Apple Logic Pro expert, programmer, consultant and educator, as well as a volunteer fireman.
